Good morning! Julie survived her 2nd round of chemotherapy yesterday! Hooray! Her white blood cell count looked much better, but the doctors chose to give her a slightly reduced dose to avoid this happening in the future.
The infusion went well and after a couple of hours she was sent home with her chemo ball in the cute clutch Alli got her. However, not long after returning home Julie started experiencing all of the yucky stuff that comes along with chemo: stomach pain, big waves of nausea, headache, and bed spins (sounds a lot like every Saturday morning during college!) Her symptoms subsided with the aid of some post-chemo meds.
Uncle Bob showed up in the evening to take some measurements and will be back today with a new front door and new astro turf for the front entry of Chateau Gauby.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers.
with love,
jen
Love hearing about you all and want you to know your never far from my thoughts and prayers. This year has brought me knowledge in several awful underfunded diseases and I continue to read and learn and pray for people so much smarter than me to help all of you! I admire your smiles and courage most of all! Again, know Utah(at least our little valley) has your back ladies!! Xoxox
